When we mention Chris Evans, we automatically remember him as Captain America, his killer body, and, of course, the heart and charisma of our beloved superhero. But I think it’s also time to binge-watch and see him in a different light, right?

Here are some of our favorite Chris Evans character outside the Marvel Universe:

Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World

Scott Pilgrim, as Michael Cera battles the seven exes of his girlfriend, Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and one of them is Lucas Lee, played by Chris Evans. Evans is an ex-boyfriend of Ramona and is now an actor who plays over-the-top villains in superhero movies. The film’s directed by Edgar Wright and also includes Kieran Culkin, Anna Kendrick, and Brie Larson in its casts.

The Iceman

The film is set in the mid-1960s through the 1980s where Richard Kuklinski (Michael Shannon) details his rise as a very dangerous hitman for the mob. Chris Evans plays Freezy, a partner and fellow hitman of Kuklinski. Evans’ role is dark, immoral, and believes that there is no job too hard for him to do.

Gifted

Frank (Chris Evans) raises Mary (McKenna Grace), his seven-year-old niece. Mary’s gift as a math protege was kept hidden until his uncle enrolled her in school. The movie is funny, endearing, full of drama that all the casts had seamlessly brought with their undeniable chemistry.

Snowpiercer

For sci-fi fans, Curtis (Chris Evans) in ‘Snowpiercer’ could be the character you’ve been looking for. It’s set in a frozen world, and the only way for people to survive is to live in Snowpiercer, a non-stop train that’s divided among social classes. The movie was directed by Bong Joon-ho and is hailed as one of his best pictures and one of the best acting performances of Evans.

Before We Go

Check out Evans’ acting and directing skills in ‘Before We Go,’ where Nick (Chris Evans) and Brooke (Alice Eve) meet in a train station and spend an entire day together. They talk, get to know each other, and, like all other movies in this genre, won’t have a happy ending together.
