In order to keep the fans invested with the mystery of what’s coming, major franchises in Hollywood try to keep details as much as they could before they start marketing their product – and ‘The Purge’ is not an exemption.
With the upcoming ‘The Purge’ 5 a.k.a ‘The Forever Purge,’ we have collated information to give you a teaser on what to expect with this upcoming movie.
1. ‘The Purge Forever’
The title of ‘The Purge 5’ continues the tradition that ‘The Purge’ movies always go with simple titles. So far, the longest among the Purge titles is only 4 words.
2. This is the final Purge Movie
James DeMonaco, the creator of the series, has confirmed this information. He said that this final installment is a great way to end the series. The ending is something everyone should look forward to because as DeMonaco said this is “how we take the one home.”
3. It is Written by its Franchise Creator
The last movie that DeMonaco directed in the series was ‘The Purge: Anarchy.’ But with this final installment, his involvement does not end with the pitch he made but he will become a primary creative source of the last movie.
4. There’s a New Director
The last installment will be directed by Everardo Gout, a Mexican filmmaker. He has directed Days of Grace, a 2011 crime thriller. Aside from this, he’s been directing for a small screen and his outputs include Banshee, Luke Cage, and The Terror.
5. Production is Already Complete
If you’re worried that their production was affected by the current pandemic, then worry no more. They wrapped up their production in February 2020. Gout started directing the movie late last summer, but he moves fast.
With this final installation now on the works, we’re sure Purge fans are very excited for this movie’s release. Being the last of ‘The Purge‘ series, with DeMonaco’s creative involvement and with the new director, fans are looking forward to how this final Purge Movie will come into play.
