After years of fans obsessing over the sweet couple and a few redirections in life, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez finally tied the knot earlier this year on August 20, 2022.

The couple first met around 20 years ago on the set of Gigli, where the two made their first movie together. A lot of other things would happen before the fans eventually began obsessing about the two, but it’s fairly clear that J-Lo’s “Jenny from the Block” music video set fire to all the fuel that hasn’t been lit yet.

Eventually, the couple got engaged, and their romance ensued with the support and gazing eyes of fans all over the world, but unfortunately, life had other plans for them. After a wedding cancellation just days before September 2003, when their wedding was slated to happen, their official breakup followed in 2004.

They would go on to continue to live their lives out and date other people, but the two never showed any remorse for each other and would occasionally talk about each other in interviews with nothing but respect and admiration.

In 2021, the two eventually found their way back to each other after a couple of failed marriages and relationships, and in April of 2022, the two eventually got engaged again.

They first walked down the aisle in Las Vegas a few months before their Georgia marriage, but it seems like the latter is more significant of the two because of the celebration that followed. The celebration was held at the 87-acre compound of Ben Affleck on Hampton Island, Georgia, where they were able to enjoy the scenery and the environment by the river.

Aside from the perfect place, we all know that It’s every bride’s dream to wear a gown that’s nothing less than perfect, and we’re sure J-Lo was able to live out hers, thanks to fashion icon Ralph Lauren personally dressing the star for the wedding celebration.

After a 45-minute ceremony that included the participation of A-listers like Matt Damon, Luciana Barroso, Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, Patrick Whitesell, Pia Miller, and family and friends, a private late-night firework display followed.

The couple and the guests could share this wonderful moment without the disturbance of fans and paparazzi thanks to their permits blocking off the airspace for drones and river access to the estate for the uninvited.
