The Flash is one of the most anticipated DC movies over the past years and for good reason. As potentially a franchise-saving retcon, The Flash has the potential to rewrite everything and correct every mistake Warner Bros. has made so far.

In this video, we’ll be listing down 5 things you may have missed in the latest The Flash trailer.

1. The Batwing

Everyone knows that Batman plays a significant role in this latest installment in the DC, and the batwing making an appearance is the nail in the coffin.

2. The Batsuits

Adding even more to the role of Batman, in a nod to Tim Burton’s Batcave, we get a clip showing at least 7 bat suits—all of which have been used at one point in Batman’s cinematic appearances throughout history. Some notable mentions are the Dark Knight costumes as well as the 1989 Batman and 1992 Batman Returns.

This sets up the concept of a possible multiverse, or at the very least, alternating timelines which has already been established in the past films. However, the laws and limitations of timelines and time travels are likely to be established better now

3. Repurposed Batsuit

Speaking of batsuits, one of the most interesting details that show up in the trailer is one of the Flashes showing up in a batsuit repurposed to be a Flash suit for Barry.

This suit was likely made by Bruce Wayne in the Keaton universe as suggested by the utility belt and bat cowl that can be seen clearly.

4. Another Speedster

Nearing the 2-minute mark of the trailer, we see a weird sequence play out. In this part of the trailer, we see Barry being attacked by a person who appears to have the same abilities that he does. We see glimpses of purple lightning and barely any silhouettes so it’s safe to assume that it’s probably another speedster.

Could it be another Barry Allen? Reverse Flash? Or an entirely different character? Who knows?

5. A Man of Steel Reference

With Zod being another focal character in the movie, we get a nod through a sequence similar to what transpired in the Man of Steel.

In a scene where one of Zod’s henchmen attacks the Batwing, it plays out the same way one of them attacked a fighter jet in Man of Steel, jumping on the plane and punching out the glass on the cockpit.
