As one of the most interesting, entertaining, and mind-boggling TV shows ever, Black Mirror has delivered plenty of excellent episodes.

For this video, we’ll be listing down 6 of the best Black Mirror episodes of all time for its six seasons.

6. The National Anthem

The first-ever episode is a great way to start this list. It’s a classic, it’s iconic, and it was able to both set and break the expectations of viewers all over the world.

The National Anthem tells the story of the Prime Minister who’s left with no choice but to undergo extreme circumstances after a member of the royal family is kidnapped.

5. White Bear

White Bear, like many Black Mirror episodes, begins with a mysterious introduction to the story. A woman wakes up in what seems like a theatre, confused and in disarray.

This woman soon notices the audience, who end up being judges, deciding what type of punishment fits the crime.

4. Be Right Back

Season openers seem to have a knack for being really good, and the 1st episode of season 2 is no exception. Be Right Back tells the story of a person struggling to deal with the loss of her boyfriend.

This episode tackles AI and going too far in the pursuit of wanting to be able to move on.

3. Fifteen Million Merits

Higher than the first-ever episode, this powerful follow-up explored concepts of fame and the obsession that comes with it.

Fifteen Million Merits begins with people biking to earn credits they use daily, and Bing, portrayed by Daniel Kaluuya, breaks his routine after he meets Abi, who dreams of participating in a talent show. Less on twists and more on irony, this episode was an excellent critique of the industry.

2. Nosedive

Similar to Fifteen Million Merits, Nosedive is a call-out to the dangers of social media and peer pressure.

The plot is simple. We explore the story of Lacie, portrayed by Bryce Dallas Howard, living in a world where an app that allows you to rate others is dictating the way society works.

1. The Entire History of You

As the title suggests, The Entire History of You tells the story of Liam, a lawyer who suspects that his wife is having an affair.

In this world, people are able to review their memories, and so he does. Instead of being a simple call-out, this episode has levels to it, elevating possibilities for Black Mirror’s future episodes.
