Special occasions are different this year.

Cinco de Mayo, March Madness, and Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day are celebrated inside the comforts of our homes.

This Sunday of May, a rise in takeouts compared to last year’s 8% is expected. This scenario is far from last year’s busy restaurants, beaches, and even parks, but this doesn’t have to be a sad day.

To help you surprise mom this Mother’s Day without stepping outside, we have the restaurants who are open to takeouts and deliveries. And, if mom is at work, you can also surprise her and her colleagues with a delicious lunch or dinner!

Restaurants are starting to open their doors to takeouts and deliveries, and here are some of our recommendations:

City Winery

The New York City location has put a package that brings their brunch or dinner experience to your home. The package includes rose wines, a personalized music video with their favorite artists’ greetings, and delicious menu entrees, including French Toast Casserole for brunch or a Rose of Syrah wine and Pistachio-Crusted Salmon with Roasted Potatoes for dinner.

Buca di Beppo

They’re now open and have two meal packages available for takeout. They have the hearty pasta where you can choose either lasagna, baked rigatoni, or spice chicken rigatoni. The hearty pasta options are $12.

They also have pasta plus entree meals at $14 per person. For pasta, you can choose, either spaghetti, marinara, penne ala vodka, or baked ziti. For the entree, choose from chicken parmigiana, limone, or eggplant parmigiana. Each package comes with salad, bread, chocolate chip cannolis, a special dessert and a rose for mom.

Season 52

If you’re looking for an offering for a larger group, then Season 52 has you covered. They currently have menus for two, four, and even six people. The menu includes entrees, wood-grilled beef tenderloin, glazed spiral ham dinner, or cedar-plank roasted salmon.

The menu options come with side dishes and their signature mini indulgences for dessert. The price starts at $55, which increases depending on the entree choice and size. You can also add a bottle of wine to your order.

Boka

The restaurant has been closed since March 16, and they’ve just opened their doors to take outs last week. They’re currently offering Mother’s Day specials for brunch and dinner. Some of the items on the menu include their popular duck for two with appetizer, sides, and dessert for $85.

Get ahead and order for Sunday, now!
