Do I have more faith in a spoonful of medicine then I do in the power that animates every cell in my body? BJ said something to this effect around 100 years ago and I find it to still remain true.

I am one who supports western and allopathic medicine 100%.Especially when it is the proper tool of choice to help support, sustain and even correct or reverse pathological conditions. However the question remains what am I doing today towards consciousness and intelligent decision making. Or should I say constructive choice based on intelligence. That intangible something, Which is engendered from the heart.

More of an inside job.

Healthy decision making, executed with zero distortion.

Am I ingesting foods today that will not create inflammation?
Am I leaving my comfort zone to get up and begin some sort of movement that stimulates my central and peripheral nervous system‘s?
Through prayer and meditation, am I allowing the engagement of the parasympathetic nervous system to be at its most robust and maximum efficiency.?

So lately I’ve been giving some thought to the environment, both friendly and hostile, which allows the growth, strength, and adaptation of my immune system. I ask myself the question, “why would I continually wish to engage in any kind of activity that would prohibit the expression of this natural state and event?”

When the shit really hits the fan do I want to be sterile and defended, or… Have some kind of physical reference to not only engage, but to prosper and flourish.

Even during this crazy time. I find myself in a state of satisfying calm most of the time. And unshakable peace, an optimism. I can’t help but feel some sense of excitement even to see where this ride goes rather than how it “ends“. I am a product of the 60s. I was thinking about the Lazy Susan.

The Lazy Susan is a circular spinning disk that may have been on your mom‘s dining room table in the 1970s. The disc spins and rotates allowing an ease of choice of condiment rather than someone Reaching across the table. A somewhat insidious way of not Permitting polite social communication of saying “pass the duck sauce.”

The Lazy Susan really originated in China. And not only was it designed to hold multiple dishes that could be experienced in a meal with ease and comfort. But it was to allow the community at the table to eat said dishes with chopsticks. But the fascinating thing about this is the food was cut into small pieces and really not placed on plates the way we do in this country. It was to be consumed By multiple eaters eating the multiple dishes at the same time. Not just for a taste combination but, it gently built a herd type of immunity.

Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying to eat off the floor of a public restaurant in Calcutta, the impoverished section, after a soccer game, on New Year’s Day, but rather to allow a consistent prudent choice and state of balance in the nature of healthy decision making, To engage one of the most potent system and systems known to mankind.

Let me pick and choose my battles wisely. Let me engage the acupuncture process to support what is already righteous and functioning optimally so that I can consciously engage in this myself when I am not on the table.

There is also external environmental vibrations that need to be raised through community. Hear me out… For instance Indian kirtans, Or chants,Drum circles, church, (any place of worship)Spiritual music ceremonies, etc.

Yes, these things are fun and pleasant, but really they are there to raise vibration to keep an individual in a state of holistic wellness. Transcending the mind and body to enter into spirit which is what being whole, or healed is really all about.

Being holistically and spiritually and physically fit is my best defense or rather adaptation in the stormy seas.

And I’m curious, but aren’t the far reaching effects of one person demonstrating love to another through a hug, a kiss, a handshake, a smile, a healthy congregation…. but unconsciously for the greater good, coupled with universal hygienic precautionary care, what seem to make the most sense sometimes?

I’m not saying what one should do, but the choice, if the interior is clean, and pathways are open, becomes much more obvious.
