Have you ever thought to yourself, “Where’s a good place to eat right now?”. And if so, how many times do you end up finding the food that you were craving? Well, no more worries!

In this video, we will look at some of the finest and newest restaurants that you will find in Queens.

Sweet Wonton House

Let’s start off with a restaurant that offers some of the best dim sums in Queens— and it’s other than Sweet Wonton House. Little Neck, Queens, is now the home to an amazing Hong Kong-style restaurant that also gives the best flavors of homestyle Asian cooking. You can choose from a wide assortment of wonton soups. They have all the classics down pat from tender shrimp dumplings to beef rice rolls.

Wang Wang Queens

At this point, almost every person who isn’t living under a rock has gotten a taste of Korean-style barbecue. But have you ever had a taste of Cantonese-style barbecue? And the next restaurant, which is called “Wang Wang Queens,” serves exactly that.

Despite its somewhat funny-sounding name, this restaurant offers the borough’s juiciest and most flavorful roast meats. Their most sought-after menu items would be their roast pork and roast duck. You’ll find them hung from the window for customers to choose from. And once you see the wonderfully glistening meat, you’re bound to get your hands on them as well.

Dar Yemma

The next restaurant we have is called Dar Yemma. It basically translates to “Mom’s House.” And there’s nothing better than getting a taste of your mom’s cooking, am I right? Well, right I am, as we venture on into their menu that offers the best Moroccan cooking, you’ll ever find in Queens.

At Dar Yemma, you will find that they’ll serve all the typical Moroccan Tagines. There are six kinds that you can choose from—two of which are absolute must-haves: the lamb and kofta tanginess. I’d also like to add that the bastilles that they serve are also on the must-try list. They come with the most tender and juicy fillings that are covered in the crispiest pastry shell you’ll find.

Dining in also comes with its pros, as you are served complimentary bread. And not only that, but you also get an assortment of lentils and pickled vegetables. These go wonderfully with the rest of your food.

Pig Beach BBQ

After all the Asian-style restaurants we’ve seen in this video, we have GOT to feature at least ONE American-style eatery.

At 36th street, you should be able to find Pig Beach BBQ—an American local-style barbecue that serves nothing but classics left and right. How could you NOT get a bite with smokers filled to the brim with peach and honey-glazed ribs? They also serve an amazing pork shoulder with a special hatch vinegar sauce.

But if you’re looking for something that you can grab and go with, their signature Pig Beach burger has got to be the way to go.

There are a lot of amazing new restaurants in Queens. If you live nearby, then what’s stopping you? Go and get a taste for your next meal!
