You’re wrong if you think SoHo is just home to broadway shows. It’s for shopping as well. Prepare your heart because you can see a lot of stores that can make your heart skip a beat – from luxury brands to boutique ones.

SoHo’s own artistic charm will make your shopping experience a more enjoyable one. And while you’re at it, enjoy and rest in some of the cafes around the area. Try coming in early in the morning, too, while there’s less foot traffic.

 

3. Meatpacking District

This shopping district in downtown Manhattan will surely put your credit card to good use. Be careful because this shopping area has the potential to max out your credit card.

 

4. Herald Square

Herald Square is another hot spot for shopping, so you’ll see many other shoppers here. If you are up for a slightly busier shopping experience and excellent deals, this is the place to visit.

It has a huge Macy’s on it, and H&M’s flagship store is located here too. Some well-known brands like Victoria’s Secret, Zara, Mango, Levis Footlocker, Gap, and Forever 21 are also just a stone’s throw away from Herald Square.

 

5. The Oculus

If the World Trade Center Memorial is part of your itinerary, then drop by The Oculus. It’s one of the newest shopping areas in New York, so come by and visit! With its futuristic interiors, it would be tough to miss.

 

6. Lexington Avenue

Located on the Upper East Side, Lexington Avenue has a mixture of luxury and common brands in its midst. Bloomingdales is one of the famous department store brands in NYC. You can get your own Little Brown Bag here, too –Bloomingdale’s signature.
