Cryptocurrency has grown larger than anyone expected it to, and there’s no reason it wouldn’t continue to do so in 2023.
Here are five crypto coins to look out for in 2023.
1. IMPT.io
First on this list is definitely one of the more interesting coins with plenty of potential. IMPT.io is a unique eco-friendly blockchain project that combines NFTs and carbon trading.
Carbon trading is still quite unclear as an industry, but this platform looks to solidify itself amidst the chaos. With more than 25,000 companies involved in this project, it’s an exciting one.
2. Ethereum
Yes, Ethereum’s performance wasn’t at all ideal in the past year, but it’s still the second-largest cryptocurrency in terms of market capitalization by a large margin, and there’s plenty to look forward to this year.
Ethereum looks to unlock staked ether and introduce staking rewards in the 1st quarter this year, and everyone is hoping that’ll help them regain the 68% they lost in terms of value last year.
3. Binance Coin
Binance coin, or BNB, pegged to be one of the best performers of last year’s bull market, looks to continue the trend this year. Its success is almost guaranteed thanks to its being backed by the largest cryptocurrency exchange platform in the world.
As Binance continues to solidify its name atop the number of cryptocurrency platforms, its coin also continues to rise up the charts.
4. Cardano
Similar to Ethereum, ADA also saw a tremendous fall last year. They went under 80% last year, and it was disappointing for the many people who dubbed it as the Ethereum killer, but like its competition, the grass will be greener in 2023.
In the last few weeks of 2022, an estimated 57 million transactions were made, signaling a surge almost 150% higher than last year. Their wallet count also grew to 3.8 million, an increase of almost 50% compared to two years ago.
5. XRP
Last but not the least on this list is one coin that looks like a gamble in an already high-stakes game. XRP’s growth has been troubled thanks to the ongoing case against Ripple, but in the instance that it wins, the potential for growth is exponential, and a boom is pretty much guaranteed.
It’s very uncertain where this coin will be by the end of the year, but that’s also the reason why it’s one that many crypto enthusiasts want to look out for.
