With an entire year ahead of us, it’s important to stay ready and look ready.

For perfect and up-to-date fits this year, let’s look at seven fashion trends on the rise.

1. Viva Magenta

First on this list, from the official color experts of the world, Pantone’s Color of the Year, Viva Magenta, just might be the first color of the year that’ll be a fashion trend.

Although fewer people have been going out the past few years thanks to covid, it’s also because Viva Magenta is a great color to work with when done right.

2. Crochet

With a lot of r clothes making a debut last year, it’s definitely guaranteed that we’ll be seeing more of that this year.

I mean, who’s to blame? Crochet looks cute, unique, and comfy. Whether it’s a crochet sweater, shirt, pants, or accessory, it’s definitely a must-have for 2023.

3. Utilitarian Style

The utilitarian Style, known by some as being practical, is here to stay. Gone are the days of jeans with no pockets, and we hope they never come back.

There are ways to look both fashionable and practical, and striking a balance isn’t as hard as you think. There is no reason pants should have small pockets or denim jackets should have fake pockets when you can have real ones.

4. Barbiecore

With a live-action Barbie movie set to come out in 2023, there’s a reason to expect it to be a trend throughout the year.

Pink is definitely a must-have, but fully pink clothes and accessories are also looking to be a trend. Leather bags, pink plastic accessories, pink hair ties, and pink sweaters are all a must-have for 2023.

5. Memes

Memes. The magic of memes is that they never get old. Even if there are new ones, the older ones become classics, and there’s nothing wrong with going with the classics.

For 2023, wearing anything meme related is something everyone—even the normies—will be doing.

6. Nostalgia Wear

Speaking of classics, nostalgia wear, or 80s fits, to be more specific is looking to make a comeback. Colorful windbreakers, athletic clothing, tinted sunglasses, and tracksuits are all making a comeback.

7. Reeboks

Reeboks, namely the early 2000s designs with thick soles, a unique shape, and the ones that would add an inch or two to people’s heights, is definitely making a comeback if it hasn’t yet.

Today, everyone should have at least one pair of classic reeboks or pumas. It’s a perfect complement to nostalgia wear.
