Home to many and the destination of millions of tourists all year round, establishments are always popping up in the Big Apple.

For this list, we’ll be listing down 6 New Must-Try Cocktail Bars in New York City in no particular order.

1. Jac’s on Bond

First on this list is Jac’s on Bond, a new cocktail bar located in an old townhouse. Their goal was to have a place where one could get a drink that was simple but fancy enough.

Their Detox Retox, made with Hendrick’s gin, elderflower tonic, celery, lemon, and coriander, is a must-try. Pairing it with their Tuna Bikini with pickled onions, marinated celery, and green olives is a great combo.

2. Martiny’s

Martiny’s is one of the more traditional cocktail bars on this list. They’re a Japanese-style cocktail lounge serving small bites and plates like their tiny miso river crabs, creamy wagyu tartare, and silky scallop custard.

As expected from its name, Martiny’s specialty is Martinis, but their caprese cocktail, a mixture of tomato water, grapefruit juice, milk, and whiskey, is also a must-try.

3. Jaffa Cocktail and Raw Bar

Michael Solomonov’s Laser Wolf and K’Far in Williamsburg is enough of a reason to be excited about his new endeavor. Jaffa Cocktail and Raw Bar may be new, but the experience that comes with owning several successful restaurants is sure to be seen in this new cocktail bar.

Aside from their $40 pitchers, boxes of wine, and selection of refreshing frozen cocktails, their pull-apart challah rolls and Tunisian tuna crudo are must-tries.

4. Donna

Donna, after closing down in 2020, has relaunched in Manhattan. Although technically, they may not be new, they do have plenty on their menu that’s pretty new.

Serving Latin-American-inspired cocktails, aside from the Brancolada, which their original bar was known for, they have additions like their pineapple-jalapeno tequila drink. For their food, fried cauliflower with chorizo is the must-try.

5. Milady’s

Similar to Donna’s, Milady’s is a comeback cocktail bar. The affordable watering hole closed down in 2014, which was unfortunate, but it’s now back almost a decade later.

There have been changes, like the pool table being gone, but the essence of the bar stays essentially the same. There’s plenty to try from apple martini to gelatin shots and chicken tenders.
