The Hulk isn’t the only one who can go beast mode; we see many of those in Marvel movies.
For this video, we’ll be listing down five moments where Marvel characters went berserk in the movies.
5. The Train Scene – Spider-Man 2
There’s probably no other scene in Sapidey Movie history that had ingrained the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man’s strength and heroic feat than the moment when he held off a train from falling off the tracks and killing dozens of people aboard it.
Although it probably isn’t what you’d first think of when you hear the words beast mode or berserk, the train scene in Spider-Man 2 was legendary at its time. Yes, we know that Spider-Man is stronger than he’s been portrayed in the movies, but strength, durability, and grit were all displayed at the moment.
4. Logan vs. The Reavers – Logan
Wolverine does go beast mode a lot of times, but none have been more remarkable than this. As an aging, broken-down wolverine suffering from a plethora of things, Logan takes on a dozen of Reavers, braving through all of them before finally meeting his end.
No better way to end a character who’s known for his beast-like attributes than a beast-mode tribute.
3. The Powerstone Scene – Guardians of the Galaxy
The power stone scene in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie wasn’t just a great display of teamwork and unity but also that of Peter Quill’s latent power as the son of a literal planet.
In this scene, Starlord grabs onto an infinity stone able to level entire planets and transfers the immense energy, spreading through all the members of the Guardians.
2. Captain America and Mjolnir – Avengers: Endgame
Captain America grabbing the Mjolnir was probably the most memorable scene in all of MCU’s runtime.
Going from superhuman who could hold down a chopper from trying to take off to a godlike person who could literally wield a god’s weapon that weighed who knows how heavy is the definition of beast mode. Not to mention, he also wielded lightning temporarily.
1. Scarlet Witch vs. The Illuminati – Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
There are plenty of times where the Scarlet Witch has displayed immense power, such as in the scene against Thanos or when she broke the Mindstone, but none of them could rival this scene.
Taking on all the members of the Illuminati, an equivalent of the Avengers in their own universe, and making it seem as easy as slicing pie was no easy feat. However, it didn’t take much of the Scarlet Witch’s powers to kill off all of them.
