With Loki being one of the most successful Marvel series ever, it’s undeniable how excited fans are for its second season. But will we be seeing it soon? What exactly do we know about Loki Season 2? What’s the plot going to be?

Where Do We Start Off?
Loki’s first season revolved around the Time Variance Authority, the Sacred Timeline, and eventually an interaction with He Who Remains, one of the many iterations of Kang the Conqueror.
After a couple of complications and several decisions made, we end the series with Loki forced to return to a Time Variance Authority where he’s treated as a stranger, erasing most—if not all of the effort he’s made so far in the series. But why is that really the case? Well, Mobius didn’t exactly forget. Instead, Loki got sent “back” to a different timeline. Meaning this Mobius hasn’t met him yet.

Who Will Be In Loki Season 2?
Marvel loves cameos, and there’s no better way to insert cameos than through a series that involves a lot of time and space travel. We’ve seen this happen in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, so there’s no question whether they’ll do the same for this series.
As for who will be in it, aside from the main cast of Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, Owen Wilson as Mobius, and a couple of recurring stars, we only know a couple of newly confirmed characters. One of which Victor Timely, another Kang variant still portrayed by Jonathan Majors. Ke Huy Quan, Kate Dickie, and Rafael Casal will also be joining the cast.
Where Will Loki Season 2 Be Set In?
Whether Loki decides to reforge a relationship with Mobius in this new timeline or whether he decides to take a different route, it’s safe to say that some parts will take place in TVA, and we’ll stick with the trend of traveling throughout timelines and different worlds just like in the first season.

What’s the Timeline? When Does Loki Season 2 Premiere?
As confirmed by the studio, Loki’s second season will be a six-episode-long season. The first episode will air on Friday, October 6, 2023, and the season finale will air on Friday, November 10, 2023.
