Whether you’re going on a vacation or you’re a resident of the Bronx, brunch is always a great idea.

You save money by combining two meals. You can dine at the time when restaurants are just opening up, and their food is fresh, and you’ll be full until dinner with the right choices.

This video will look at six must-try brunch spots in the Bronx.

1. Havana Cafe

Located right in the heart of the Bronx, the first spot on this list is a Cuban cafe bringing the Soul of Havana to this borough.

From pizzas to casseroles, and, of course the Cuban sandwich, there’s plenty to try. The dishes at Havana Cafe are hearty, filling, and satisfying. P.S. The Spicy Breakfast Casserole with eggs, chorizo, and cheese is the best.

2. Moss Cafe

As the name suggests, Moss Cafe is a vegetarian restaurant located in Riverdale.

Avocado toast is top-tier, Tofu Bahn Mi is great for the day’s first meal, and their Peak Summer Sandwich is a must-try. For non-vegetarians, the Salmon Burger is also a great option to consider.

At Moss Cafe, building your own bowl consisting of grain, two veggies, and a sauce is also an option if you want to mix things up.

3. Charlies Bar & Kitchen

Charlies Bar & Kitchen is a local legend. You can enjoy numerous dishes like Eggs Benedict, Shrimp and Grits, and an amazing burger inside a historic clock tower building in South Bronx.

If you’re looking for a relaxing spot, preferably somewhere you can get the gears grinding for the long day ahead, this is the spot.

4. iNINE Bistro

iNINE Bistro is one of the more unique spots on this list. Located in Port Morris, iNINE Bistro serves fusion. Combinations of dishes from all over the world with inspirations and twists from elsewhere is their forte.

Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Stuffed French Toast, and the Bahama’s Trip Crab Cake are all dishes you should try.

5. Casa

Casa Restaurant and lounge is another Latin spot on this list. They have quite a menu with plenty of popular options like fried chicken and waffles, burgers, and steak and eggs.

The signature Casa Salmon, Chicarron de Pollo, and Alcapurrias are also a must-try.

6. The Waterfront NYC

Last but definitely not the least is the Waterfront. Aside from its great meals, it’s also a paradise in the middle of the city. The view is perfect, the meals are great, and the service is quality. You couldn’t ask for more!

If you’re looking for something elevated, the Eggs Benedict is something to try. For most, Ham, hollandaise, and eggs with runny yolk will do the deal.
