1. Visit Bryant Park’s Winter Village

Located at 41st Street and 6th Avenue, Bryant Park’s Winter Village isn’t just a Christmas market. It has its own skating rink, restaurant, and set of stalls. They have been open since October 27 and catered to locals and tourists.

There are also other fun things to visit and enjoy, like their Cozy Igloos, Bumper Cars on Ice, and their Curling Cafe and Bar.

2. Drop by 5th Avenue

At this time of the year, 5th Avenue’s establishments are lined up with all sorts of Christmas decors. Every store has its holiday display, which is more beautiful than the last.

Aside from the varied themes of each store and building, a beautiful light display can be seen throughout the 5th. Stand-out stores such as Barneys, Tiffany’s, Bergdorf Goodman, and Macy’s Herald Square are must-visits.

3. Rockefeller Center’s Christmas Tree

While it’s possibly not a new thing to you, if you’ve never been to the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, this year should definitely be the year.

The annually awaited Christmas tree is an iconic part of Christmas for both locals and tourists. The tree is kept on 24 from 5 a.m. to midnight daily, with over 50,000 multi-coloured LED lights spread out throughout its branches.

4. GingerBread Lane

Witnessing the world’s largest gingerbread village is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Featuring more than a thousand gingerbread houses and other iterations on display, like bakeries, ice cream parlors, and more, the GingerBread located in Manhattan is a must-visit. The GingerBread Lane is open from November 26 until January 7 of next year.

5. Visit the New York Botanical Garden

Plenty of things are happening in the New York Botanical Garden for Christmas. From the amazing lights on display everynight, thanks to their outdoor light experience, to their holiday train show that dates back to 30 years ago, there’s plenty to explore.

The night lights on display provide great Instagrammable photos and a nice relaxing stroll at night. The holiday train goes through almost 200 famous landmarks in New York like the Statue of Liberty, Rockefeller Center, and the Empire State Building .
