One thing that also makes Brooklyn Bridge worth it is the view. Walking around Brooklyn Bridge provides you with the most beautiful and scenic views of Manhattan.

3. 9/11 Memorial Site

The event on November 11, 2001 shook the entire world. Located where the Twin Towers once stood, this memorial site is a great way to pay homage to all the innocent souls taken by such an unfortunate event.

At the same time, while it’s a place for mourning, it’s also a place for history geeks and enthusiasts. Inside the museum, you’ll find material evidence, historical records, and testimonies revolving around the events.

4. Times Square

There’s no place more well-known in The Big Apple than the iconic Times Square. It’s an integral part of Manhattan. While it’s crowded all the time, it’s just some place you must visit at least once.

It’s a must-visit from gigantic billboards to numerous skyscrapers and a flock of people from all sorts of places.

5. Highline

If you haven’t heard of it yet, Highline is exactly what the name suggests. Green walkways on the same level as some buildings provide an oasis in the midst of this concrete jungle.

While there are still a lot of people on most days, the view up top and the plans and trees sandwiching the walkway is a great way to take a break from the hustle and bustle.

6. Central Park

Definitely not the least, Central Park is a name that’s familiar to everyone all over the world. After numerous appearances in movies and television shows since the 80s until today, it’s part of many people’s bucket list.

Regarding activities, the choices are limitless in this 843 acres National Park right in the heart of Manhattan.
