Romantic dates have always been tricky to plan. There are many things to consider, such as your interests, budget, and location. However, at the end of the day, it all depends on your and your partner’s preferences.

In this video, we’ll make that easier for you by listing down five spots in Brooklyn where you can celebrate Valentine’s Day.

1. Brooklyn Botanic Garden

While it isn’t exactly the go-to spot for dates, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is a great spot for a casual romantic date with a light atmosphere. If the person you’re going on a date with is looking for something like this, a stroll down Brooklyn Botanic Garden is a great choice.

The obvious spots for romantic walks in the garden would be the Japanese Zen Garden, the Cherry Esplanade, the Shakespeare Garden Cherry Esplanade, and the Shakespeare Garden, where plants that appear in Shakespeare’s writing are all on display.

2. Brooklyn Winery

To kick it up a notch, a fancier date would be a day at the winery. If you both enjoy wine, this winery offers a cozy ambience perfect for Valentine’s Day. While there aren’t events posted yet when writing this video, they often have special events or tastings for Valentine’s Day.

Even if both of you aren’t into wine, if you’re willing to try something new, this fresh experience is a great way to make a memorable Valentine’s Day date.

3. The River Cafe

The River Cafe isn’t just an amazing fine dining spot. It’s one of the most well-known romantic spots in Brooklyn, providing an amazing view of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan sky.

Aside from the great meal, the stroll down the riverside after a great dinner caps off the entire experience. However, since it is a famous destination well-known for romantic dates, it’s expected to be full on V-day. Make sure to book a reservation at least a couple of weeks ahead.

4. Brooklyn Bridge Park

While it may seem cliche for most, going on a date at a park isn’t bad, especially if it is Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Brooklyn Bridge Park is a vibrant area with plenty of fun exploring spots. The Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory is a great spot in the park where you can enjoy some of the best ice cream in the area while also enjoying a breathtaking view of the East River and the Manhattan Skyline.

5. Pier 5

Last but not least on this list is a great option for a more physically active date. You can paddle along the East River on a kayak together. You can cast lines off the pier and fish together. When night falls, you can admire the stars along the cityscape while picnicking by the water.
