Excited what her upcoming movies are? Here’s a peek:

Hillbilly Elegy

Just a few more periods of sleep, and you will be able to watch Amy Adams on the screen again. The film Hillbilly Elegy is completed and expected to be released by November 2020.

The story is a modern exploration of an American dream, as depicted by the three generations of an Appalachian family. The story is based on a best-selling memoir by J.D Vance.

Aside from Adams, Glenn Close, Gabriel Basso, Haley Bennett, and Freida Pinto will also star in the film. With the powerful combination of Ron Howard as the Director and Vanessa Taylor as the screenwriter, this movie is expected to gather nominations from different award-winning bodies.

The Woman in the Window

Despite several setbacks, The Woman in the Window is expected to be released by 2021 on Netflix. It has gone through a studio translate, and controversial expose about the author’s source material, several rewrites, reshoots, re-edits, and release date pushbacks.

However, everyone who worked on this film conquered all of them just to bring the story to your screens. With Netflix releasing the movie, everyone can watch it from the comforts of their home.

Expectations might have been dampened, but curiosity remains. And with Amy Adams in it, expect this thriller to give you some chill to your bones.

Zack Synder’s Justice League

No twist and turns can derail Zack Synder’s Justice League’s release anymore because it’s finally happening! Just like the Woman in the Window, this movie has gone through several challenges as well.

After having troubles in Syder’s personal life, Joss Whedon took over the project. After doing some reshoots and additional shots, everyone is excited about how the film will turn out. Will the “Synder Cut” be better? Only time will tell.

But with Amy Adams as Lois Lane, every fan is excited!

Kings of America

Here’s to more Netflix releases! Joining the roster is the king of America. Netflix will produce the show, and Amy Adams will be an executive producer as well.

The story will revolve on the life of three women: an heiress, a maverick executive, and a longtime Walmart saleswoman and preacher. These three women’s lives will be interwoven by one of the biggest class-action lawsuits in US History.

How will the story play out? Production hasn’t started yet, but this is definitely another Netflix series to look forward to.

Dear Evan Hasen

The Broadway theatrical run of Dear Evan Hansen resulted in six Tony awards. Now that it will be on the big screen, will it be award-winning as well? Universal Pictures is currently filming this Hollywood soon-to-be blockbuster.

Stephen Chbosky will be directing the big-screen adaptation. He was also the director of The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Steven Levenson, who wrote the award-winning stage production, will be in charge of the screenplay.

Adams will play the role of Cynthia, the mother of Evan, and Zoe. Benn Platt portrays Evan, and Zoe will be portrayed by Kaitlyn Denver. Casts also include Julianne Moore, Amandla Stenberg, and Danny Pino.

Disenchanted

The sequel we’ve all been waiting for – Disenchanted! 13 years after Enchanted was released, people now have something to look forward to. This March, it has been revealed that Disney is already entering the pre-production of the movie’s sequel.

However, it’s still unclear as to what extent COVID has affected the planned part two. Let’s just keep hoping that this won’t be another promise unfulfilled. Amy Adams had an award-winning performance in Enchanted, and we’re sure that she’s definitely going to top it on the one.
