Dolce Brooklyn is the first on this list for a simple reason: It’s considered one of the best Gelato shops in the area because it uses only local ingredients. Their dairy is sourced from Hudson Valley, and deliveries are made almost every day.
Flavors like Serious Chocolate are a staple, but you can also contact them for customized flavors for bulk orders.
2. Venchi
With multiple branches in the area, Venchi is always a great place to visit. Not only do they serve great gelato, but they also have a great selection of flavors to choose from.
The Piedmont Hazelnut and Green Pistachio from Bronte are a given, but flavors like the Sorrento lemons and Sicilian Almonds are unique, refreshing options to mix up your day.
3. Gelateria Gentile
As another gelato shop with multiple branches, it’s no question why Gelateria has been able to expand its territory. Their secret recipe that has been passed down and perfected since 1880 is probably the same reason why.

4. Screme Gelato Bar
Screme Gelato Bar is probably the most underrated one on this list. It’s a hidden gem even among locals because many other gelato shops have big names. However, no other gelato bar has as many flavors. With over 200 rotating flavors, they’re the place to visit if you want to expand your pallet.
5. Bambina Blue
Last but definitely not least on this list is Bambina Blue. They’re known as the shop with the wildest gelato, and they definitely live up to their name. They’re also another gelato bar that serves a plethora of flavors.
