Although the relationship between Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson has come to an abrupt end, fans are still left picking up the pieces on why they break- up and even the relationship that happened in the first place.

January 2019 – Kid Cudi’s Birthday
Kid Cudi’s birthday is allegedly the first time the two met. In a tweet by Kim, greeting Kid Cudi a happy birthday, she attached three photos with Kid Cudi, Pete Davidson, Ye, and Timothee Chalamet in it.
This is where the two first became acquainted with each other, but Kim was still going strong with Kanye West, and Pete Davidson was still linked with English Actress and Model Kate Beckinsale.
October 2021
Two notable things happened in October. The first was a kiss on Saturday Night Live, which fans didn’t really think much of, and the second was a spotting of the two holding hands—which was a clearer indicator of what was blossoming.
November 2021
Two things also happened in November. The first was a not-so-secret dinner, and the second was an IG post of Flavo Flav that confirmed what fans were already speculating about. Kim, Kris, and Pete are all clearly getting along in the rapper’s pics.
February 2022
Pete Davidson finally calls Kim K his girlfriend in an interview with PEOPLE’s online talk show. He talks about how most of his time is spent with friends or his girlfriend, and later on, a candle with Kim’s face was spotted in the same interview.
March 2022
If the interview wasn’t clear enough, the couple finally confirmed things and made it official in March this year. In another IG post, this time from Kim, the pics were captioned with “Whose car are we gonna take?!,” a reference to 2010s The Town.
April 2022
After vowing not to introduce the children to Pete unless things were already serious, the children were finally spotted with Pete in Scott Disick’s gated community in LA, which meant things were serious.
In the same month, Pete also makes his first appearance in The Kardashians and attends the White House Correspondents Dinner with Kim.
August 2022
After nine months of romance and chaos, the two’s relationship comes to an abrupt end. Fans of the couple are still left confused as to why they broke up, and no one really knows why. The two cite busy schedules and distance, but we all know that’s not the real reason why.
