After the success of early shows like Smallville and Arrow, superhero shows have been one of the most well-loved.

However, with the influx of superhero shows being made left and right, some shows have betrayed all positive expectations. For this video, we’ll be listing down 5 of the worst superhero shows in recent history.

1. Inhumans

First on this list is a show only a handful of people know about. If that isn’t an indicator enough of how bad this series is, the 11% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and the horrible reviews left online should be.

Tackling the story of a royal family with superpowers trying to protect themselves while saving the world, Inhumans isn’t the worst, but due to the bland script, bare minimum acting, and subpar production, it has certainly become one of the worst in recent history.

2. Batwoman

Anything Batman-related is more than likely to have some semblance of success, but not this one. Batwoman is the exact opposite of most entries in the bat franchise.

However, one of the things that make it bad is because of its shortcomings. It takes elements of shows from the Arrowverse but isn’t able to draw on them properly. Despite having the potential of being a good show with a great representation of queer women of color, it didn’t pan out that way.

3. The Tomorrow People

Starring Robbie Amell, the younger brother of Stephen Amell, the actor made famous for starring as Oliver Queen for Arrow, CW’s The Tomorrow People was a blatant failure. The Tomorrow People follows the story of young people who end up getting powers through humanity’s evolution.

Some fans enjoyed the series, but the show ended up getting canceled after just one season due to a lot of criticism from critics and CW itself.

4. Iron Fist

Iron Fist is one of Marvel’s lowest points. With a critic score of only 19% and an overall unoriginal and directionless approach to the series, it’s highly disappointing.

Iron Fist is seen as one of many underrated comics in Marvel, but the series is an atrocity compared to the comics.

5. Bibleman

Last and probably least, this series actually existed. Bibleman debuted in 1995, and its last episode was aired in 2010. Bibleman is everything you’d expected it to be. It tells the story of Miles Peterson, a superhero who uses holy scripture to ward off the forces of evil.

Plagued with low-budget production, lazy writing, and even some hints of anti-semitism, this superhero show that’s barely a superhero show shouldn’t have been made at all.
