One of the dilemmas that often comes with great food is the price. Luckily for you, in a place like New York City, plenty of amazing restaurants won’t empty your pockets. Even Michelin-starred ones.

For this video, we’ll be taking a look at 5 Affordable Restaurants with Michelin Stars in New York City.

1. Oxalis

First, on this list, Oxalis is conveniently located near the Brooklyn Museum and the Grand Army Plaza. If you’re looking for a good meal in between, Oxalis is the affordable choice for you.

Although it’s definitely going to cost you more than the delis and other restaurants nearby, Oxalis is worth every penny you spend. Most of their menu is seasonally inspired to keep quality high, but the Sunday Brunch, which includes an egg, a starch, a vegetable or salad, and a sweet is a must-try.

2. Casa Enrique

For arguably the best Mexican Restaurant in NYC, this Michelin-starred restaurant is surprisingly affordable for its level. Every bite is packed with flavor, and the attention to detail is definitely that of a Michelin Star level.

Anything you order in this restaurant is amazing. From their pal arranque, or appetizers such as their Guacamole and Sopecitos de Chorizo, to their main courses, the Taquerias and Enchiladas, you won’t regret ordering any of them. Hold back on the Margherita, as it’s a bit pricey.

3. Francie

Located in Williamsburg, Francie and its European-style cuisine is no question one of the best in the area despite being affordable.

There are a lot of interesting entrees on their menu, but we suggest you start with the Pappardelle or Lobster Ravioli and the Soufflé Cakes.

4. Tuome

Spearhead by Chef Thomas Chen, Tuome is as fusion as fusion can get. Because most of its menu is priced below $50 USD, this Michelin-starred restaurant is a must-try.

At $35 USD, their Crispy Chicken is a staple in the restaurant. Their Octopus with Pommes aligot appetizer is only $27 USD as well is one to consider.

5. Jeju Noodle Bar

Last but not least on this list is a Korean noodle bar located in West Village. Serving heavenly Korean Ramen like Toro Ssam Bap and Gochu Ramyun you can enjoy a decent, hearty, and filling meal for only USD 50 and below.

What do you think of this list? Will you be visiting any of them soon? Affordable Michelin-Star restaurants are a rarity, so don’t pass up on these if you’re ever in the area!
