It’s no surprise that a new restaurant pops up every-so-often in Manhattan. From casual dining spots to high-end restaurants, there are endless choices in The City.

For this video, we’ll be taking a look at five restaurants that opened recently in Manhattan.

1. Bangkok Supper Club

Bangkok’s late-night food scene inspires Bangkok Supper Club and its charcoal grill. Taking the usual dishes to another level.

Their Yam Khai Dao, or fried egg salad topped with grated cured duck egg yolk, is a great way to start your dining experience. The Bangkok Gai Yang, charcoal grilled chicken marinated in lemongrass and oyster sauce and the Goi, a North Eastern Thai beef tartare, are stand-outs for main courses.

2. Cecchi’s

Aside from the newly opened spot already in the competition for having one of the best burgers in town, there are plenty of other reasons to visit Cecchi’s.

This American bistro serves a number of comfort foods like fall-of-the-bones ribs, chicken a la king, and pan-seared pork chop. They also serve shrimp cocktails, oysters, and a lovely rack of Australian Lamb.

3. Tatiana

Landing in the top 100 list of restaurants in the city just months after it opened is no easy feat. Tatiana, which focuses on upscale versions of classic dishes in NYC is a good restaurant to visit if you’re looking for something new.

Headed by Kwame Onwuachi, a Chef who made his name after competing on Top Chef in 2015, they have a lot of must-try dishes on their menu. Curried snow crab, braised oxtails, and their short-rib pastrami suya are just some of many that will have you craving for more.

4. Libertine

There’s no saying no to French cuisine, and Libertine ensures that. Straying away from the more high-end French dishes, Libertine serves simple yet hearty and flavorful dishes like Gnocchi, tartare, and sausage with mashed potato.

Their dessert in itself is also already reason enough for you to visit this new spot. Try out the Lamb à la Moutarde and duck breast cooked delicately in duck confit.

5. Nasrin’s Kitchen

Last but not least on this list of new restaurants is Nasrin’s Kitchen. This Persian restaurant specializes in noodle soups and beef stews elevated by saffron.

Kebab platters, baklava, and their selection of desserts and pastries all make for a wonderful experience. P.S. the fresh pistachio skin jam, tahini bread, and saffron pistachio brownies are all must-tries.
