Shopping is one of the most fun activities to do during the holidays. In a place like New York, there are endless options.

In this video, we’ll help you by listing 5 of the best Christmas markets in New York City you should visit.

1. The Maker’s Show

First on this list is a Christmas market with just over 60 participating small businesses. Located at City Point, The Maker’s Show will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from November 24 to December 18.

You’ll find tons of thoughtful and unique Christmas gifts available in this market, from adorable wood cards to candles of all sorts and sizes and even some decorations that will add to the much-needed Christmas spirit at home.

2. Brooklyn Navy Yard

The Brooklyn Navy Yard holiday market is filled with many things. The event, which covers over a hundred thousand square feet, has over 200 vendors participating. You’ll find everything you need here for the holidays from an array of trinkets, locally made gift items, soaps, and candles.

The event is open to all at Assembly Road and Gee Avenue, but organizers encourage those planning to reserve their slots.

3. Native Art Market

The Native Art Market may have fewer items than most Christmas markets on this list, but it’s perfect if you’re looking for unique holiday presents.

Straying away from the occasional gifts, you can purchase pottery, jewellery, carvings, and even photographs and sculptures at this pop-up at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian.

4. FAD Market

FAD Market, an abbreviation for fashion, art, and design, is exactly what the name suggests.

You’ll find numerous artistic crafts and artisanal goods in this market that’s open at Empire Stores in Dumbo from November 27 to December 22 and at the Invisible Dog Art Center in Boerum Hill on December 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, and 17.

5. Make Manifest Brooklyn

Last but not least on this list is a humble Christmas market pop-up open throughout the holiday season. Embracing the theme of being a culture shop, gallery space, and entrepreneurship all in one, you’ll find merchandise here you won’t find elsewhere.

Make Manifest Brooklyn will open November 24 and 25 at Tompkins Avenue and again on December 2-3 and 9-10 at the exact location. They will also operate on December 16-17 and 23-24 for those looking to buy Christmas gifts just before the 25th.
